All that’s left to do is to select a preset and apply it to the adjustment layer. Once you do so, you should place the adjustment layer in between the clips you want to transition, making the layer last for around 80 frames (40 for the first clip, 40 for the second).
To take advantage of any of these transition presets, first you will need to create an adjustment layer since, obviously, this is not a typical transition effect.
